Today was the 1st day of the 4 day Skye Munros course. With a dry forecast for most of the week the team made their way round into the southern 3 munros of Sgurr nan Eag, Sgurr Dubh Mor and Sgurr Alasdair, the highest peak on the Scottish islands.
The weather was warm on the walk in but cool on the tops and the cloud lifted as the day went on. It was a good 1st day building confidence over the rocky steps and boulders of the grippy gabbro rock.
We made good progress round the peaks and always with great views out to the Western isles and onto the mainland.
