Skye Munros

Today was the 2nd day of ticking off the Skye Munros on the Cuillin ridge. And it was a big day, 5 munros completed starting with Sgurr MhicChoinnich, Inaccessible Pinnacle, Sgurr Banachdaich, Sgurr Ghreadaidh and Sgurr Mhadaidh.

The wind was strong on Sgurr MhicChoinnich and i did have my doubts about the In Pinn but it was not too bad on that part of the ridge. Thanks to the party who let us go ahead to keep our day moving. The In Pinn was memorable in its classic way: narrow, windy, cloudy, cold followed by an abseil.

We then made swift progress to Sgurr Banachdaich where the scrambling started again on the very narrow ridge to the last 2 munros of the day.

On our descent the clouds lifted and the sun come out giving us views of the small isles and the ridge.
