Today was the perfect day for a traverse of Liathach from east to west taking in the two munros.
The morning was cool and cloudy for the steep walk up to the ridge, where the clouds cleared for the rest of the day, revealing the amazing views that the Torridon mountains are famous for.
Once on the ridge we made good progress to the summit of the 1st munro of the day, Spidean a Choire Leith, moving from the Torridonian sandstone to quartzite. From there we gained the pinnacles and the team made steady progress over the rocky steps, all with fine views.
It was then a simple walk to the 2nd munro of the day, Mullach an Rathain with long views to Skye and the Outer Hebrides.
