After 4 months of not working in the hills today was a good day to start back, on Ledge route on Ben Nevis.
Today was an impressive day taking up Dorothy, Jake (6) and Robin (the dog). We had drizzle most of the morning and we made good progress up to the CIC hut. From there we slowed down over the rocky approach to Ledge Route before gaining the ridge.
Jake did really well over the rough ground and on the ridge making steady progress. With the wind stronger at the top of Carn Dearg we decided to head to the mountain path from there and down back to the car park.
