Day 2 of our Skye Munro course where we tackled the southern 3 munros: Sgurr nan Eag, Sgurr Dubh Mor and Sgurr Alasdair. With a strong wind in the morning it was harder going to get up to the 1st summit, but as we traversed round the corrie towards Sgurr Alasdair the wind was dropping. Gladly the stronger wind was keeping the temperature down, in the lee it was hot. On the Cuillins at the moment it is very dry with a lot of the major streams very low and most of the high spings and seepage lines dry, great for climbing and mountaineering, tricky for ridge traverses.
