Tower Gully on Ben Nevis was very different to 5 days ago with hard snow and ice all the way with the drop in temperatures. Im glad that the warm, wet weather didn’t continue for another few days as the gully past Tower Scoop was almost not there with a few holes in it. We almost got views on the summit but the cloud didn’t quite clear. Maybe the trickiest part of the day was walking down the zig zags which were very slippery with the frost and frozen rain over the rocks, this took careful walking.
