Today i was up Tower Gully on Ben Nevis, probably the biggest patch of snow in the area at the moment. It was the guys 1st day out in winter with the ropes so we spent a bit of time covering the basics of good footwork in crampons before moving into the start of Tower gully. The snow line is at about the same height as Echo wall area and the freezing level was at roughly the summit.

There are patches of ice on the main path above 1200m but they can be avoided by a bit of deviation.
