Experience of mountain walking and other scrambles, a good head for heights and the ability to move over rocky terrain

All our instructors are qualified and very experienced at leading people over technical terrain in the mountains.
Our instructors are very knowledgeable about the mountain environment, so the day can be easily split up with interesting chats, wildlife and great views along the way.
We pick the best route options for you to give an enjoyable time on the rock.
We supply all the technical equipment for the route.
Summary
Moving from simple, broken rocky ground to steeper more continuous scrambling can seem like a big step! This course will give you the additional confidence and informed knowledge to make the right decisions based upon the terrain and your own ability.
Based upon your level of experience we will pick the correct routes to add to your experience and give you the correct knowledge to improve your skills. Ranging from short steeper sections that may require a rope depending on the weather to more continuous rocky ground that can be classed as easy rock climbing where the rope is needed throughout. And anything in between.
